September 15, 202210 min read

Have you heard? There’s a new show in town, and we can’t wait for its epic release on April 1, 2022. We are so excited for the latest season of Get Organized with The Home Edit! The organizing duo that put trendy home organization on everyone’s radar is back with another season of rainbow order, neat ideas, and methods any person can implement in their homes.

professional organizers Denver Co

Did you know The Home Edit is not the only organizing show to pop up on a streaming service near you? Over the past few years, minimizing and organizing have become a necessity in such a clutter-coated world. For those looking for inspiration or motivation, these shows have led viewers to reconsider their spaces and how they can improve their lifestyles.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out some of these shows, you are missing out on a good time!

Professional Organizing is Taking the World (And Your Streaming Service) By Storm

Nothing is more motivational than watching a space go from clutter to calm in the span of an episode!. Nothing is more inspirational than knowing you can have your home looking as spic and span as the homes on tv with the proper methods and products. What makes many of these shows so bingeable? The reveal is pure magic (and completely doable)!

Check out the five most bingeable home organizing shows streaming now and find your organizing niche with some of the biggest names in the organizing industry.

Get Organized with The Home Edit

Get Organized with The Home Edit follows the dynamic duo, Clea and Joanna, as they transform homes into beautiful, functional spaces. They make it clear that you can do it too. They give you permission to run with your style and be bold while eliminating the clutter that bogs you down. They also do it in a fun and vibrant way that makes organizing seem like less of a chore and more of a passion project.

Get Organized with The Home Edit showcases both celebrity and regular clients, so viewers see that organization is attainable for everyone. Another popular takeaway is The Home Edit’s signature rainbow reorder style, adopted in homes everywhere.

Why do we love The Home Edit? The strategies they implement minimize the time spent locating items because every item has a place. Also, you can shop the episodes directly from their website!

We are also big fans of how accessible items are from The Home Edit. Clients who love their style and products can shop both their Container Store line, including their sustainable line of products, and their budget-friendly Walmart product line. These products all work seamlessly together and give an unlimited number of possibilities for your own home organization.

Hot Mess House

Hot Mess House is an HGTV show with Cassandra Aarssen. She believes that there is no such thing as a messy person. There are just people who organize differently, and tapping into your organizational methods will open doors, windows, and everything in between.

Cas looks at people individually and applies her Clutterbug methods to determine whether you are one of four organizing styles: a bee, a cricket, a butterfly, or a ladybug. Her categories have to do with being a visual vs. a hidden organizer and being a micro vs. a macro organizer.

Her Clutterbug Method is more like a scale and less like fitting you into a specific category, but knowing where your style falls is beneficial to maintaining a tidy home. Do you know what organizing bug you have? Check out Hot Mess House and take a moment to take Cas’s Clutterbug type quiz to figure out what organizing method works best for you.

Bonus: her website also gives you a rundown on your organizing type with product recommendations that you can use in your very own home.

Tidying Up with Marie Kondo

Will Tidying Up with Marie Kondo spark joy for you? Maybe. Her very particular method of organizing became a worldwide phenomenon. Before you knew it, everyone was thanking their things before tossing them and holding each item close to them to see if there were sparks.

Although this method may seem far-fetched, there is something to be said for keeping items that bring happiness to your home. Tidying Up with Marie Kondo also introduced the KonMari method of organizing, which will make your closets and drawers look flawless. This bingeable show is just another example of how people organize differently.

In addition to Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, her second show Sparking Joy, helps viewers get organized in all areas of their lives. Sometimes we forget there are more than just closets and pantries that need our attention, and Marie Kondo tackles those other areas.

For those who gravitate towards her methods, The Container Store carries an entire line of Marie Kondo products perfect for sparking joy and organization in your own home.

Minimalists Less is Now

The Minimalists: Less is Now

While not everyone can live a minimalist lifestyle to the extreme, we agree that having less in your life makes for a better living environment. In The Minimalists: Less is Now, Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus take viewers on an extreme journey in just under an hour to showcase how becoming minimalists changed their lives.

Throughout the documentary, viewers hear from both experts and everyday minimalists about how living with less is necessary in such a cluttered, noisy world. They get you thinking about what is essential versus accumulated stuff.

Becoming a minimalist may seem like an extreme approach. However, the documentary is eye-opening and raw in showing how many people tend to overcompensate their lives with stuff instead of focusing on binging the things that matter most: time in nature, moments with family, etc.

Hoarders

We have to mention Hoarders, a binge-worthy show that covers what happens when clutter gets out of control. If you are looking for perspective on your own home, consider what happens when piles of stuff become a floor-to-ceiling disaster.

Shows like Hoarders shed light on tough situations and prove to people there is help out there for them. While many viewers may be sitting back watching what looks like a trainwreck, other people struggle daily with this very issue.

Unfortunately, hoarding is nothing to joke around about, and it can become a serious problem that plagues people. Mess and clutter are one thing, but hoarding is an entirely different situation. Typically, a regular professional organizer usually cannot work with hoarders.

There are niches and specialty organizers within the organizing community who have the training to work with specialized organizing cases. The ICD, or Institute for Challenging Disorganization, can help people with hoarding tendencies move forward and find a healthier way of living.

Coming Soon to a TV Near You: The Newest Titles in Professional Home Organizing for You to Stream

Springtime is the perfect time to start decluttering and get organized–or maybe it’s just the perfect time to get inspired to tackle that Spring cleaning to-do list. Either way, we can’t wait to binge these newest titles in home organizing that are hitting stream services soon!

Keli Jakel

Having walked through many challenging transitions herself, Keli knows well the value of being able to find order in a season that feels chaotic. With a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Keli spent her early years working in the field of education. It was her passion for serving others and her ability to see patterns where others can’t that inspired her to launch Organized by Keli & Co. Since then, she’s dedicated her career to helping people reach their potential in spaces they love.
